Q&A: How come mobile phones dont need an anti virus when using the mobile internet on them ?
-
My iphone is locked to one network can I use it abroad with a foreign sim card? Yes you can but first you will need to unlock the phone to take another networks sim card. This can be done by either a hardware unlock or a software unlock depending on which version of the iphone you own. ,I would like to get this done so what are the next steps I should take? Go to www.iphoneunlocking.co.uk and watch the online tutorial which will show you in a step by step guide how you can establish which version of iphone you have.
What is the procedure to unlock my iphone? Once you have established which iphone you have you will see that one of 3 unlock methods will apply to you. If you have a software or hardware unlock required then you will be able to do, as long as you have an up to date and comprehensive guide. If it is a testpoint unlock that is required we advise you do not attempt this as it is a very complex unlock and should only be attempted by unlocking professionals
Where should I go to buy an unlock solution? There is only one website we recommend and that is because they have a 10 year trading history and are an official nokia and samsung repair centre. www.iphoneunlocking.co.uk is owned by phonezone they have a high street presence and can be contact during working hours on the telephone. Their website offers excellent video tutorials and is by far the best website online.,How repairs iphones? If you have a broken iphone then send it to iphone unlocking and they will be able to assess if your handset is repairable.,If you are interested in finding out more about iphone unlocking click this link...............

Same reason why Macs don’t need anti-virus protection: Web browsers should just show you web sites, not mess with your OS.
Letting web browsers or websites have access to your system in any way that could lead to a virus is a horribly flawed design just begging to be exploited (cough, Microsoft Windows, cough.)

U-bet they do need defensive measures.
See: Five Steps to Mobile Device Management and Security; https://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/242905/five_steps_to_mobile_device_management_and_security.html
I don’t see any Opera specific steps for A-V’s but it’s worth looking into…especially keeping it updated.
